Windows Install
Step 1: DownloadGroupWise Messenger for Windows
Step 2: Do one of the following:
  • To start the installation immediately, click Run This Program From Its Current Location (click Yes if prompted by a security warning)
  • To copy the installation to your computer for a later time, click Save This Program to Disk. When the download is complete, double-click gwmsgr.exe to start the installation.
Step 3: Double-click the Messenger icon on your desktop and enter your username and password.
MacOS X Install
Step 1: DownloadGroupWise Messenger for OSX
Step 2: Install
  • After downloading, GroupWise Messenger should install automatically, if it doesn't, go to the folder where you saved the file and double-click Messenger.pkg.
Step 3: Double-click the Messenger icon and enter your username and password.
Linux Install
Step 1: DownloadGroupWise Messenger for Linux
Step 2: Install
  • After downloading, open a new terminal window and cd to the directory where you downloaded the installer (gwmsgr.bin).
  • Use the su command to become root.
  • At the prompt, type: sh ./gwmsgr.bin
Step 3: Double-click the Messenger icon. NOTE: It might take a few seconds to load. Enter your username and password.
Mobile Apps
GroupWise Messenger mobile apps can be downloaded and installed directly on your mobile device from Apple's App Store, Google Play, Amazon's Appstore, or Blackberry World.
